Well the rain has set in and any sign of a drought is now officially gone! Rugs that were sent away for repairs and cleaning are now in desperate need! At least the weather hasnt turned too cold, so only the old girls (and wee Crunchie) have the honor of a rug at this point.
Corivale Dubonnet is currently away being backed and progressing nicely from what i am told! It is going to be so exciting to finally have her in the ridden rings this year, after she has brought us many succeses inhand previously! Holly from Tribal Horse Enterprises has been wonderful and i suggest if any of you have a pony sitting in the back paddock that you are considering backing for the next season, give Holly a call... if you need her contact details - call me, i am sure she will be more than happy for me to pass them on!
School holidays are upon us, so it will be time to clean out tack sheds and other areas that were totally abandoned over the spring and summer months! The fun with ponies is that you work all week to pay to feed them.... and spend all weekend out and about with them, when miserable winter sets in, the only thing left to do is sort through the hords of stuff you collected from the saddlery stores, (which you probably never needed in the first place) and work out whether any of it even fits the dozen wee ponies in your muddy paddocks!
Enjoy the holidays everyone.... spend time with the kids before you know it, they wont want to be spending that time with you, cause you will be so ún trendy! lol :-)
